The origins of the brand:

Where does the name Salt & Stone come from?

It all started in California between the sea and the mountains, the creator of Salt en Stone chose this name, which links these 2 passions: surfing with the sea (salt= salt) and snowboarding with the mountains (pierre=stone).

How the brand was created:

Salt & Stone creator Nima Jalali was a professional snowboarder in his twenties until he suffered a knee injury. Following his injury, he realized that by opting for a natural approach in his diet and consumption, his recovery was faster and more effective. It was from that moment that he looked for products that could suit his lifestyle. Not finding a chemical-free sunscreen and aluminum-free deodorant that suited him, he decided to create his own brand.

In 2017 he created Salt & Stone , a natural beauty product brand based in Los Angeles, California. This brand has natural, organic and antioxidant-rich products. The brand has been formulated for active people and for all skin types.

Product packaging and production:

Salt & Stone packaging is made from plastic found in the oceans and other recycled materials. Salt & Stone uses eco smart technology which allows packaging to be biodegradable in days, not decades.

The products are manufactured using solar and water energy to obtain products that respect the environment.

- Formula 1 Deodorant :

This deodorant formula n°1 exists in 3 flavors: sandalwood, lavender & sage and eucalyptus & cedar. Formula 1 is suitable for all skin types.

- Formula 2 Deodorant (Sensitive skin) :

This formula N°2 deodorant for sensitive skin is available in 3 fragrances: bergamot & eucalyptus, sandalwood & vetiver and eucalyptus.

Formula N°2 is designed for sensitive skin as it is formulated without baking soda and will also be more hydrating.

• Salt & Stone Sun Creams:

Discover the range of Salt & Stone sunscreens with 30 or 50 protection or in sticks. These sun creams are formulated to withstand 80 minutes in water.

These sunscreens do not leave traces on the skin Salt & Stone sunscreens are fragrance-free and toxic to coral reefs.

- Sunscreen lotion SPF30 :

This SPF30 protection contains ashwagandha, hyaluronic acid which will help moisturize the skin and green tea which will help purify it.

- Sunscreen lotion SPF50 :

This SPF50 protection contains rosehip oil, avocado oil and vitamin e which will nourish and hydrate the skin.

- Sunscreen SPF50 facestick :

This SPF50 face protection in tinted stick is composed of cocoa butter and shea butter which will hydrate and nourish the skin and vitamin e which has antioxidant properties. This small format will be perfect for your excursions.
