AIME: food supplements, skincare and make-up
Founded in 2018 by Mathilde Lacombe and François Morrier, AIME is a French brand that combines food supplements and skincare. The supplements are built on probiotics, plants and patented actives. The skincare is built on stabilised vitamin C, ceramides and peptides. The range covers supplements, a short face routine, the Make Up Care line, accessories and Parfum de Peau.
Food supplements: one formula per need
Collagen Tripeptides is collagen in tripeptide form, in micro-granules that dissolve instantly. The serving is 3 g a day, with no added sugar or sweeteners.
Each Glow formula matches a skin type. French Glow combines probiotics and essential fatty acids for dry, sensitive or redness-prone skin. Pure Glow combines probiotics, zinc and turmeric for combination to oily skin. Clear Glow® brings together the patented active Belight™, copper and two probiotic strains; copper contributes to normal skin pigmentation.
For hair, Hair & Scalp Boost combines probiotics, biotin, folic acid and rice protein; biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair. Gut Flow™ combines seven digestive enzymes with ginger and peppermint. The Hydrating Sticks combine four electrolytes (calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium) with pink Himalayan salt and coconut water, with no added sugar.
Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Face care: cleanse, treat, protect
Cleansing is done in two steps. The Cleansing Balm, a fragrance-free balm-to-oil-to-milk texture, removes make-up, including waterproof formulas. It comes with a cloth. The Micellar Jelly turns into a fine foam on contact with water.
In the morning, the Antioxidant Serum combines stabilised vitamin C, Centella asiatica exosomes, hexylresorcinol and niacinamide. At night, the Resurfacing Treatment contains 2% NovoRetin™, a plant-based alternative to retinol, and biomimetic ceramides. Both come together in The Serum Duo.
The Barrier Cream combines cica exosomes, probiotics, ceramides and a patented tripeptide, for morning and evening use. The Daily SPF 50 protects against UVA and UVB. It is fragrance-free and works as a make-up base.
Accessories include the stainless steel Cryo Roller, to keep in the freezer, reusable silicone eye patches, and mattifying blotting papers made in Japan from hemp and conifer pulp.
Make Up Care: the make-up line
The Powder Foundation with SPF is the brand’s best-seller with us. This mineral powder offers SPF 30 (SPF 15 in the deepest shade), with prebiotics, hyaluronic acid and alpha-bisabolol. The Tinted Serum evens out the complexion sheerly. It contains hyaluronic acid and 2% peptides and is made in France.
For cheeks, the Cream Blush has a balm-cream texture, and the Healthy Glow Cheek & Lip Cream comes in one raspberry shade, Amoureuse.
For eyes, there are two tubing mascaras. The Definition Mascara, in brown-black, removes with warm water. The Volume Mascara comes in black or brown. The Eye Pencil, a waterproof nude beige, is applied to the waterline. For lips, Le Lip Liner contains grape, pomegranate and raspberry leaf extracts. Four brushes with vegan synthetic bristles complete the line.
Parfum de Peau
A unisex musky, woody scent with sandalwood, white musks and ambroxan. It also comes as a roll-on with jojoba oil.
A five-step morning routine
- Cleanse with the Micellar Jelly.
- Apply the Antioxidant Serum.
- Moisturise with the Barrier Cream.
- Protect with The Daily SPF 50.
- Even out the complexion with The Tinted Serum or the Powder Foundation with SPF.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose a Glow supplement? Each formula matches a skin type: French Glow for dry, sensitive skin, Pure Glow for combination to oily skin, Clear Glow® for skin prone to dark spots. Follow the directions on each product.
Definition or Volume mascara? Both are tubing mascaras. The Definition Mascara curls and lengthens, in brown-black, and removes with warm water. The Volume Mascara builds more volume and comes in deep black or natural brown.
