Le Rub, sun protection and after-sun care
Founded by Belgian siblings Kim and Raf Maes, Le Rub makes sun protection and after-sun care. The face and body creams rely on non-nano zinc oxide, 100% mineral protection against UVA and UVB. The range also includes a sun oil and a sun mist, plus three after-sun products.
Face: Everyday Sunscreen and Glow Drops
Everyday Sunscreen SPF 30 has an ultra-light texture with no white cast or greasy finish. It contains grape ferment extract, hyaluronic acid and sweet almond oil. Everyday Sunscreen SPF 50 has a luminous finish and is water-resistant; it combines encapsulated vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. Both are non-comedogenic and, according to the brand, also protect against blue light.
Glow Drops SPF 50 is an ultra-light mineral sunscreen with a luminous, never greasy finish, enriched with niacinamide and vegetable glycerin. Wear it with or without make-up.
Body: creams, oil and mist
All-Day Sunscreen SPF 30 contains grape seed and sunflower oils, glycerin and vitamin E. All-Day Sunscreen SPF 50, with a glowy finish and water resistance, combines carrot juice, grape ferment extract and calendula. Both mineral creams are made for the whole family.
Sunscreen Oil SPF 50 is a light oil with buriti oil and vitamin E in a non-aerosol spray. It uses next-generation chemical filters and is dermatologically tested. Sunscreen Mist SPF 50 is a clear mist that dries in seconds. It contains niacinamide and squalane, is water-resistant and suits sensitive skin. Keep babies under 6 months out of direct sunlight.
After-sun
Sunset Serum contains Sicilian prickly pear, myrtle, mastic, cucumber and apricot extracts, plus lycopene from tomato skin. It suits dry, tight skin. Repairing Face Mask, with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and cucumber juice, works as a mask or an overnight treatment. Repairing Lotion, with aloe vera, grape seed oil, cucumber juice and glycerin, hydrates and refreshes the body.
A five-step routine
- In the morning, apply Everyday Sunscreen to the face as the last step of your skincare.
- For a more luminous look, choose the Glow Drops instead.
- Before sun exposure, apply All-Day Sunscreen or the sun oil to the body.
- For touch-ups during the day, use the mist, which applies quickly.
- After sun, apply Sunset Serum or the mask to the face and Repairing Lotion to the body.
Frequently asked questions
Do the creams leave a white cast? According to their product pages, Everyday Sunscreen and All-Day Sunscreen leave no white cast. The sun oil leaves no white film either.
Are the products suitable for children? All-Day Sunscreen is made for the whole family, and the mist also suits children. Keep babies under 6 months out of direct sunlight.
