Face taping means placing adhesive strips on specific areas of the face, usually overnight. Here is how the technique works and how to use Lyfta Skintape strips.
What is face taping?
Inspired by the kinesiology taping used by athletes, face taping uses adhesive strips placed on the skin of the face. While they are worn, the strips hold the skin in place and limit expression movements on the targeted areas: forehead, eye area, cheekbones or around the mouth. When removed, the skin looks smoother.
Lyfta Skintape strips
Lyfta strips are made of breathable cotton with a gentle adhesive designed for sensitive skin. They come in two kits: the Forehead & Eyes Kit and the Cheeks & Mouth Kit.

How to apply the strips
- Prepare the skin: it should be clean and dry.
- Place the strips on the chosen areas gently, without pulling the skin.
- Leave them on overnight, then remove them gently to avoid irritation.
- Then apply your usual skincare routine.
Face taping can be combined with a facial massage using a gua sha or roller.
